Job Overview:
We are seeking a District Supervisor that can lead, motivate, and problem solve with your team in highly sensitive and emotional situations, frequently interacting with families who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We are seeking a supervisor who is empathetic, has excellent communication skills, strong problem solving skills, effective conflict resolution skills, and is a motivated self-starter. While prior experience in the biohazard industry is a benefit, it is not required. Aftermath provides comprehensive training and certification on safety and compliance, biohazard cleanup process and procedure, and customer service. We are committed to training our District Managers for success.
Responsibilities of a District Manager:
- Overseeing the shops assigned
- Training of Team Personnel (Supervisors, Back Ups, Technicians)
- Figuring Logistics with CM and assigned shops to get teams to their designated locations.
- Assist Supervisors on site with problem situations
- Participate in or with RM with Back Up/Tech Interviews
- Reporting information to RM
- Addressing conflicts within shops
- Assisting with Performance Management
- Continue to Run and Scope Jobs when supervisors are not available
- Ensure adherence of teams to company policy and procedure.
The role & responsibilities of a District Manager would be to oversee the shops assigned to them, ensuring that each shop is running smoothly and efficiently. The District Managers would be responsible for any and all sorts of training of policy and procedures for all new and long-term supervisors, back-ups, and technicians. In addition, working with Client Managers to figure out logistics for territories, and to assist supervisors with on-site problems when Client Managers are not available. District Managers will resolve minor conflicts within shops, and if any larger conflicts would be address along with Regional Managers. For all District Managers, they would communicate and report to their Regional Managers in regards to any and all information that needs to be addressed.
District Mangers will still be responsible for running, scoping, or assisting on jobs within their designated locations when all other supervisors are either on PTO or Non PTO as well as being on jobs with supervisors to oversee the project to ensure quality of work.
