We are seeking responsible, caring team members to transport our patients safely within San Diego County. If you enjoy an independent position, in a non-office setting, where each day is different, this job is for you! AMR not only provides free training and continuing education but will also help you promote to Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by providing up to $2,000/annually in tuition reimbursement.

Pay & Incentives:

    $15.00/hr
  • $2,000 annual tuition reimbursement

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Transport/drive patients to and from medical facilities/home in a timely manner
  • Utilize maps to locate hospitals, medical facilities, and patient home addresses
  • Ability to use standard radio codes to communicate with the communications center
  • Complete daily trip sheet recording transport activity
  • Ensure company vehicle is maintained and presentable
  • Responsible for completing mechanical checklist for vehicle at the start of each shift
  • Communicate mechanical problems to fleet department if/when vehicle is not in working order
  • Successful completion of company driver's training
  • Successful completion of CPR First Aid training
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations, all company policies, procedures and compliance requirements
  • Know and follow information systems security policies and procedures
  • Other duties as defined by the formal job description
