Raymond West is looking for a fast-paced Rental Coordinator to join our dynamic team! This position reports to the Rental Supervisor and requires the ability to interface smoothly and efficiently with customers, sales representatives, vendors and other departments. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the rental department with timely, accurate and efficient rental order processing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Daily maintenance of numerous files:
  • Customer listings
  • Payables
  • Termination Log Book
  • Communicate with customers, sales representative and Customer Care Managers, in person, by phone or in writing in regards to rentals, pricing, availability and lead time.
  • Qualify rental needs; complete rental request form (RRF)
  • Process and distribute rental contracts/receivers to transportation
  • Schedule and coordinate delivery and pick up of rentals, including batteries and chargers with transportation
  • Communicate with customer and sales force regarding problems or concerns as they pertain to the Rental Department.
  • Must be able to professionally screen calls and take messages for department.
  • Responsible for accurate daily computer input to maintain current locations of all rental equipment.
  • Process rental invoices on a daily basis. Process rental credits for early returns.
  • Willing to be cross trained to assist others in department.
  • Be familiar with the specifications and functions of all equipment in the rental fleet.
  • Recommend rental needs and opportunities
  • Compile reports: utilization, sales commissions, payable
  • Coordinate Home Depot Activity and billing to Raymond Corp through I-net; coordinate other major/national accounts as required
  • Track (physical) rental fleet (trucks, batteries and chargers)
  • Maintain master log book of all receivers for unallocated (non-EBS) non-rental assets. Maintain control of all sublet rental equipment
  • Carry out other specific duties and projects as assigned by the Rental Supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Minor mechanical/technical ability

Weekdays (Monday through Friday) 7 am to 4 pm or variable as required.
