Overview

JENSEN HUGHES is seeking a Senior Consultant in the greater Chicago area or Mid-western United states. Candidates in other locations will also be considered. The focus of this position will be direct technical client support and project management for Threat Violence Risk Management contracts and initiatives. The successful candidate must have excellent technical writing and presentation skills and be a subject matter expert in consultative security services to a select group of clients.

Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed written assessment findings with tactical, fundamental and strategic recommendations based upon risk-driven factors.
* Work closely with the Communications Team to generate high-quality, high-impact client deliverables.
* Work closely with the Business Development Team to identify business opportunities.
* Create emergency management plans that address threats faced by families and their offices and staff.
* Author corporate policies, procedures and plans based upon security best practices.
* Deliver the expected results of programs and projects within budget, schedule and resourcing constraints.
* Schedule and assign duties to colleagues, team members and subcontractors on complex programs and ensure assignments are completed as directed.
* Participate and contribute as a security subject-matter expert to engagements led by other team members and ensure assignments are completed as directed.

* Create executive protection plans and maintain network of executive protection experts.

Qualifications
    At least 8-10+ years' experience in Threat Violence mitigation strategies
  • Skills, knowledge and ability to direct and coordinate projects to completion in compliance with contractual obligations while achieving and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Highly proficient at managing multi-faceted projects and directing project resources to meet project objectives.
  • Advanced interpersonal communications skills that inspire trust and confidence with very successful and wealthy individuals. The ability to translate highly technical or complex matters to be easily comprehensible to individuals or groups without technical skillsets or backgrounds.
  • Ability and skills necessary to deepen existing client relationships while setting the necessary foundation to win additional work and the ability to cultivate new client relationships based on candor and confidence in your expertise.
  • Adept at achieving high performance results in a corporate and family environments - including the ability to communicate, collaborate and earn trust with internal stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills including critical thinking, positivity and trustworthiness which motivate and inspire others.
  • Ability to drive fiscal and project management aimed at ensuring the continued financial viability of Jensen Hughes.
  • Ability to write and edit clear and succinct communications for the company's clients and the executive management team.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues and staff in high-profile and sometimes high-stress circumstances.
  • Experience conducting analytical research to support site assessments, risk assessments and emergency management plans and programs.
  • Commitment to maintaining utmost confidentiality, discretion and privacy.
  • Demonstrated innovator with the ability to challenge oneself and one's team to be on the leading edge by continuously identifying best practices to improve security environments for families, their staffs and offices.
  • Must have demonstrated stable job history. Similar industry experience in private family services is highly desired
