Overview

Jensen Hughes is seeking a Market Leader based in the Western, United States to promote our Safety, Security, and Resiliency business. The position will be based in Westminster, CO, The ideal candidate will be highly experienced as a Senior Consultant, Engineer, or Scientist in one of Jensen Hughes' specialty consulting areas and have the desire and aptitude to support business development activities across all consulting service lines. The position is considered a focused leadership position that is expected to perform technical work (to include quality control) approximately 50 percent of the time and while spending the other approximately 50 percent of the time on business development. Reporting to the Subregion VP, the Market Leader will work with Operational Leaders, Marketing, and business development professionals to drive new business, develop proposals and qualifications packages, project manage projects in their service line, prepare technical deliverables, and support cross-functional team initiatives including mentoring. Experience in selling professional services is desired.

Responsibilities
    Identify and facilitate opportunities for new business for a range of professional services to achieve the subregional/regional sales goals.
  • Perform technical engineering and/or consulting work independently or as part of a project team.
  • Manage client expectations and relationships through clear and thoughtful communication and assist team members in doing the same.
  • Establish credibility with clients by managing a high level of thought leadership.
  • Meet established billable hours go.als (50/50 split between billable hours and business development approximately).
  • Accountable for meeting profitability goals assigned (clients/accounts) for all projects managed.
Qualifications
  • Typically requires 15 years' experience and demonstrated successful history in performing technical consulting work and developing and cultivating client relationships.
  • Significant experience in at least 1 or more areas of professional services which may include fire protection engineering, security, risk informed engineering, forensics, or other service lines.
  • Typically requires Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Engineering or higher
  • Experience in professional service business processes.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills with the ability to deliver sales presentations and technical proposals to clients
  • Professional designation desirable (i.e., Professional Engineering License)
