Join our national Geospatial Science Team as a Geospatial Analyst, supporting projects with cartography, data management, spatial analysis, and Enterprise GIS. Responsibilities:

As a Mid-level Geospatial Analyst, you will support projects across the country as a member of our national Geospatial Science Team. Applying GIS to collaborate with our various Practice Areas, which include Engineering, Environmental Sciences, and Natural Resources, you will have the opportunity to share your experience and grow with us around the application of GIS in a range of interesting and challenging projects. The position entails the following:

• Working in a fast-paced environment that involves organizing and prioritizing work with tight deadlines and managing competing priorities.
• Supporting our Geospatial Science Team or leading the application of GIS on small projects by performing tasks such as data acquisition, data management, spatial analysis, and reporting/mapping.
• Supporting senior staff with research and development and maintenance of GIS systems, as directed.
• Cultivating a friendly, supportive, and fun work environment through open communication and teamwork within and external to Anchor QEA.

What Are We Looking For?

Ideal candidates will have the following:

Required:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a field related to the environment. Experience may be substituted for education for exceptional candidates.
• Demonstrate 3 to 5 years of progressive experience with Esri's ArcGIS Desktop Suite (ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro) and Spatial Analyst or 3D Analyst.

• 3-5 years' experience working in consulting or equivalent industries.
• Strong understanding of Python and SQL programming languages, with the ability to run and modify existing code.
• Demonstrate experience working with ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online for authoring web maps and web applications
• Demonstrate experience working with SQL Server Geodatabase data management.
  

• Demonstrate critical spatial thinking, solving problems, and attention to detail in work products.

Preferred:

• Experience with one or more of the following: FieldMaps; Survey123; or Image Server.
• Experience with VertiGIS Geocortex, Workflow, and Reporting
  
• Familiarity with EQuIS or other enterprise environmental database systems
• Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, JSON, Arcade, and R
• Experience in environmental, engineering, or natural resources consulting.
