Quantech has an immediate opening for Senior Software Engineer supporting the The Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC) located at Lackland AFB, TX. Specifically, this position supports the Cyber Mission Platform (CMP) program office. CMP is the common framework for future Air Force cyber operations and will complement existing Air Force cyber weapon systems. CMP will provide a common user interface and the services necessary to facilitate the planning, generating, execution, assessing, commanding, and controlling of Air Force cyberspace operations. The CMP Program incorporates an agile environment. The individual shall be able to:
• Conduct reviews on program portfolio to evaluate and/or recommend alternative plans, improve systems engineering programs/processes, manage/sustain program technical baseline, and design/perform system level tests to assure that subsystems and system performance is achieved in accordance with approved specifications.
• Perform program reviews to evaluate alternative proposed plans, systems engineering programs, design, and test results to assure that subsystem and system performance is achieved in accordance with program specifications.
• Identify Risk Management Framework (RMF) project artifacts and documentation required to facilitate the achievement of an Authority to Operate (ATO). • Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures to support fielding and operational sustainment.
• Provide system/program engineering, technical support and technical training to support programs/initiatives, including but not limited to: acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, continued evolution, deployment/fielding and installation, and operations oversight/support.
• Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with Air Force SEAM and Air force Agile Acquisition processes.
The engineer must possess the experience to specialize in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that span both software and system architectures. With a deep understanding of agile SW software development, cloud infrastructure, and systems design, the candidate will drive the development of complex, integrated environments that support the organization's IT and business needs.
