As part of our continued growth, we have new opportunity for Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care team. The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient’s needs.
Position Details:
- Per Diem Schedule: 1-2 days per week
- See patients in Primary Care / outpatient setting
- Initial consults, routine office visits, well checks and follow-up appointments
- Average Patients Per Day: 18-20 patients
- Comfortable seeing patients from newborns to geriatric
We offer competitive per diem rate plus medical malpractice coverage and eligibility for 401K program.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification beyond a four-year college.
- Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Studies program
- Current AANP Certification
- Unrestricted CA NP license
- Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
- Minimum one-year Primary Care experience
- Comfortable seeing patients of all ages
- Excellent patient care and time management skills
- Ability to work in fast pace environment, team player, adaptable to changing priorities
- Travel to different clinics in designated region
- EMR Proficient
California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $53.00 to $67.00 per hour.
