Work Hours

• Availability between 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Mountain Time, Monday to Friday except holidays, is required

Job Description

• • • • • Oversee project assignments, ensuring timely completion and adherence to due dates
        • Monitor and report on workload considerations, maintaining optimal balance and efficiency
        • Attend OTS Permitting Team meetings, representing the company and communicating progress and any challenges to BIA
        • Facilitate national coordination among BIA's environmental program staff, compiling and reporting data essential for project management and oversight

Remote Work and Travel

• • • • • Eligible for remote work with occasional travel, estimated to be two-three trips per quarter, each lasting three-four business days
        • Familiarity with fieldwork in remote Alaska beneficial for those leading travel
        • The amount of travel cannot be determined at this time, although it is unlikely to be more than two to three trips per quarter.
        • It is highly dependent on the number of requests for assistance we get from Direct Service Tribes.

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or environmental engineering
• Demonstrated experience in technical writing and environmental compliance
• Knowledge of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and procedures
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
