SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Strategic Talent Sourcing Recruiter provides research and sourcing services in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team with a focus on critical/niche positions primarily covering but not exclusive to Pathologists, Histotechs, Sales, Business Development, and Accounting. You will deliver high-quality research and ensure a positive experience for passive talent. You will build validated pipelines, support continuous pipeline growth, and provide advice on the appropriate channels available for talent sourcing. The Strategic Talent Sourcing Recruiter plays a critical role in talent acquisition and is instrumental in ensuring that Fulgent Genetics attracts and hires top-tier talent.
KEY JOB ELEMENTS:
- Source and recruit passive talent within a fast-paced scientific environment.
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, SeekOut, Paycom, and other recruitment tools to identify and engage with top passive and active talent.
- Build validated candidate pipelines and support continuous pipeline growth by utilizing strategic business intelligence, internal and external networks, professional organizations, social media networking, branding/marketing initiatives, and technology tools.
- Monitor talent sourcing technologies and recommend appropriate channels for new sourcing approaches. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Analyze sourcing data and metrics to optimize procurement processes.
- Able to manage a wide range of disciplines including but not limited to pathology, histology, laboratory directors, scientists, sales directors, business development, and accounting.
- Review, draft, update, and publish attractive job descriptions, advertisements, and marketing materials.
- Cover the full-cycle recruitment process for critical positions, including talent sourcing, phone screens, scheduling interviews, and negotiating offers.
- Register, plan for, and attend off-site career fairs and conferences as assigned by the TA Manager.
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants, passive talent, and new hires.
- Be cognizant of diversity, equity, and inclusion amongst passive talent, active candidates, and new hires.
- Reinforce Fulgent Recruitment and HR policies, rules, and standard operating procedures.
- Deliver excellent service to all talent in line with Fulgent's mission, culture, and values.
- Act as an ambassador for Fulgent and its subsidiaries while discussing the company with prospective applicants, active candidates, new hires, current staff, and the public.
- Participate in regularly scheduled recruitment team meetings and 1:1 meetings with TA leadership.
- Attend on-site meetings at Fulgent Genetics HQ or subsidiary laboratories as directed by the TA Manager.
