Responsibilities

Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, provide nursing care and treatments to patients, administer medications, and monitor vital signs.

  • Provide general nursing care, nursing procedures, and referrals, to ensure optimal patient care as appropriate to LPN licensure in the State of Minnesota, under supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Participate in gate keeping responsibilities for medical issues, under supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Participate in conflict resolution pertaining to health issues, under supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Provide assistance to patients/customers/staff as directed by the Registered Nurse, to result in timely delivery of services.
  • Continually seek and maintain knowledge necessary to facilitate optimal patient care and comfort.
  • Maintain Unit order to result in optimal efficiency in delivery of services.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Vocational or technical training (MN LPN licensure)
  • One year experience in acute care setting
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • MN LPN license and current registration
