Michael is BELL's Director of Communication. As a one-man team, he is responsible for public relations, website and social media assets, design, publications and marketing material, content creation, and brand development. Prior to this role, Michael served in leadership roles as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Director of Development. He brings twelve years of experience in youth and community development and communication. He earned his M.A. in Media, Culture, and Communication from NYU's Steinhardt School of Education, and a B.A. from Boston College.

BELL is a national nonprofit organization that partners with schools and community organizations to expand learning time for children in grades K-8. Our mission is to increase the academic achievements, self-confidence, and life opportunities of children living in low-income, urban communities.
