JOB FAMILY SUMMARY:

Works with developers and business application users to develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases, including the use of automation, performance and test management tools. Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.

JOB SUMMARY:

The QA Technician I - RAID manually confirms bugs within the software. This role recreates bugs, follows up on confirmed bugs, and learns new or existing features. This role also works closely with the RAID team and Customer Support.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

*At least 1 year of experience in the MINDBODY software
*Passion for troubleshooting and problem solving
*Ability to work in a team environment

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Differentiate between software defects and requests, features, or limitations
*Leverages domain knowledge and documentation to determine if software is behaving as intended
*Gathers more information as needed from Technical Support Specialists, Gurus, or clients
*Works on research projects for various issues in the software
*Communicates to Customer Service when work items are resolved as Invalid, Duplicate, Unable to Recreate, or Request
*Assesses software defects for impact and severity to determine potential risk
*Escalates potentially major issues in a timely manner
*Recalls and appropriately uses a mass of learned skills and data about the world
*All other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

*Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard.
*This position is mostly stationary and will be required to remain stationary for extended periods of time.
*Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
*The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
