We have an opening for a Business Development Intern in our Los Angeles office. This is a full-time internship and may transition into a temp to hire.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

*Supporting internal and external firm hosted events, conferences, seminars, charity events, and receptions etc., including coordinating invitations and RSVP lists, preparing and editing presentations, organizing event registration, and collaborating with vendors, team members and other internal departments as required;

*Coordinating sponsorship/membership opportunities (i.e., arranging payments, monitoring deadlines for ad production, logo submissions, coordinating marketing collateral materials etc.);

*Assisting with the preparation and execution of pitch materials and presentations including proofreading, formatting, editing, printing, binding and delivery;

*Updating and maintaining marketing materials including practice area descriptions, brochures and attorney bios;

*Assisting with the firm's CRM database, InterAction, including reviewing and creating mailing lists used for email campaigns and event mailings;

*Conducting research on existing and potential new clients , competitors and industries of interest;

*Coordinating and drafting social media content as applicable;

*Maintaining and coordinating inventory of branded collateral and promotional items;

*Developing progress reports of marketing efforts;

*Providing general administrative support to the daily operations of the business development department; and

*Assisting with special projects, as necessary.


Qualifications:

*Candidates should be pursuing or hold a Bachelor's degree (preferred);

*Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

*Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects;

*Research skills and Internet search proficiency are required desired;

*Resourceful, self-starter with initiative and follow-through;

*Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to interact with vendors, staff and attorneys at all levels;

*Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines while remaining flexible to new situations as they arise.
