About the Role

The Senior Manager of Outbound Marketing is a key marketing position within Arm's Machine Learning (ML) group. This position reports directly into the Director of Marketing Programs and includes responsibility for developing high-impact product marketing programs, generating technical product content (with the support of technical and engineering teams), developing external website presence, and coordinating focused internal and external ML events. Within these areas, the work encompasses marketing events execution, development of product marketing initiatives, and managing the annual ML marketing calendar and budget. Additionally, this position works closely with Enterprise/Corporate Marketing and Product Marketing teams to ensure smooth creation, execution and integration of ML materials. An essential aspect of this role is to devise effective marketing strategies to promote awareness of ML products and messaging within the different organizations at Arm.

What will I be accountable for?

  • Drive and create product marketing content to elevate an awareness of ML in the marketplace.
  • Research and recommend the annual ML marketing calendar (events, external collateral, technical content, outbound activities) and handle the established ML budget.
  • Proliferate key marketing messages for ML-based products through multiple vehicles (including whitepapers, website, collateral and product webinars) with members of the ML Outbound team, Product Marketing (PM), Ecosystem and Technical Marketing (TM) teams.
  • Support the development of executive/elevator sales pitches and drive event collateral (e.g. booth rolling slides, brochures/handouts, demo selection and messages) with support from ML outbound, PM, Ecosystem and TM teams.
  • Coordinate the ML team's overall marketing plans and priorities with Enterprise/Corporate Marketing teams
  • Work closely with the Director of ML Marketing Programs and key ML spokespersons to ensure consistent and compelling messaging across other Arm marketing initiatives.
  • Drive all key ML product launches/announcements through the corporate websites, developing sales and product collateral content, as well as post-launch education materials.
  • Recommend simple and effective critical metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities/ initiatives.

Job Requirements

What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?

  • Demonstrated success in marketing communications, technical marketing, or related fields.
  • A consistent track record of successful marketing programs and campaigns.
  • The ability to be effective both as a standout colleague and team leader in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and/or semiconductor industry is helpful but not required.
  • Self-starter, ready to take the initiative in developing creative marketing programs.
  • Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills (past samples may be required).
  • Driven and upbeat with a passion for getting things done well.
  • Accustomed to working in a dynamic environment and meet daring deadlines.
  • Available to travel up to 15 percent both domestically and internationally.
