Within Amazon Advertising, the Programmatic Partnerships team is focused on developing strategic partnerships across advertising agencies and direct clients. At the center of our partnerships with customers are meaningful and scalable technology partnerships. As a PPM focused on a specific vertical/category, you will focus on driving the adoption of the Amazon DSP, as well as building broader relationships with digital marketing decision makers within agencies and advertisers to further educate holistic reasons for deeper investment within programmatic. You will educate and consult them on how to leverage Amazon's suite of programmatic product offerings - ranging from audience planning, measurement, reporting, and driving excitement for new capabilities such as API's, clean rooms and DCO. You will influence industry thinking on leading-edge approaches to leverage Amazon DSP and core ad technology and as a byproduct be considered a "go to" contact for investment decision makers.
As a Vertical Programmatic Partner Manager (VPPM), you will report to the Manager of PPMs and use your experience selling or building programmatic advertising solutions to grow revenue for the DSP across a designated vertical. With your broad and long-standing client-side and agency relationships, consultative approach and deep understanding of the programmatic industry, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned clients, and act as an ambassador for them when providing feedback to internal sales and product stakeholders. You will across several organizations including: Account Executives, Product Managers, Product Marketing and Solutions Architects and Consultants.
Core Responsibilities: * Client coverage against specific vertical - owning the relationship at all levels regarding programmatic: Client Direct, Media agency, Trade agency, CRM agency, Creative agency. * Own relationships with marketing, tech and programmatic decision makers * Deep understanding of programmatic ad tech industry and Amazon's ad technology core value * Consolidate and prioritize customer feedback and collaborate internally with Product Management to drive scalable changes for the DSP Responsibilities * Develop and execute a customer-led growth strategy for use of the Amazon DSP * Own relationships with programmatic buyers and decision-makers, from the trading teams to the C-level * Deeply understand Amazon's core value proposition in order to effectively articulate that value to our clients * Conduct live demonstrations of the Amazon DSP * Listen intently to client feedback on business alignment and usability of the Amazon DSP, organize and share that feedback with product, and collaborate with Product Management to drive scalable changes through to completion * Respond to inbound RFPs, proactively develop custom ideas, and deliver up-sell opportunities for your clients **This role can be based in Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY**Basic Qualifications * Experience building new customer relationships * 4+ years of B2B sales experience Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
