Responsibilities
Holland America Group is currently searching for a highly motivated Sr. Business Analyst who will act primarily as a business analyst for large-scale projects and also as a Project Manager/Business Analyst for other projects while working within the Workgroup Systems team. This position will be challenged with identifying scope, requirements, potential risks, or delays to a project and reporting to direct supervisor.

*Schedules and facilitates interviews with users and subject matter experts for the purpose of identifying objectives and gathering requirements
*Develops timelines, creates roadmaps, and devises strategy for code releases, deployments to production, testing, and training
*Creates detailed functional specifications
*Creates comprehensive test scripts with traceability
*Creates regular status reports and project communications to Managers, Directors, and Executive Leadership
*Coordinates project activities including advising on systems under the Workgroup Systems purview, providing representation for our stakeholders/sponsors in meetings, and representing the Workgroup Systems in interviews with internal and external audit teams
*Maintains and writes documentation for various Workgroup Systems applications used for development, support, and training
*Facilitates meetings, creates agendas, transcribes minutes, and takes action items and minutes for multiple Workgroup Systems projects
*Leads mid-sized technical implementation projects
*Supervises one direct report
*May be asked to participate in an on-call capacity as part of a rotating support group

Requirements
*Bachelor's Degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Business or equivalent work experience; project management certification a plus
*Minimum of 5 years' experience in a software development business analyst role as well as experience delivering business systems solutions in an enterprise IT environment
*Prior experience in a supervisory capacity a plus
*Proven ability to manage projects
*Highly proficient at creating project documentation of all types
*Highly effective at identifying risk and devising mitigation strategies
*Capable and effective in coordinating end-user activities such as testing, training, and change management
*Proficient communicating to all levels of business (from Users to Executives) at a high level with professionalism
*Capable of representing the Workgroup Systems and HA Group IT in a professional manner
*Ability to mentor more junior level Business Analysts as needed
*Available for approx. 10% travel, both domestically as well as internationally
