General Purpose and Scope of Position:

Wilbur-Ellis is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join the Treasury organization with a passion to participate in the transformation of the global organization. With a 100 year history behind us, we are now working to lay the foundation for our next 100 years. This is a critical role reporting directly to the Treasurer and will be responsible for capital and market risk management, liquidity management, and treasury reporting. This position will engage cross-functionally at the corporate and divisional level and will work closely with the other members of the Treasury team to assess, implement, and manage treasury opportunities and solutions.

  • Demonstrated capital markets experience and strong market risk management skills

  • A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and business analytic tools
  • Literacy and understanding of enterprise software platforms (preferable JDE and Insight)
  • Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, initiative, and integrity

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • CFA, CTP, MBA highly desirable
  • Minimum 7+ years of corporate treasury, financial institution, or related finance experience
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of U.S. and International financial markets, banking, and cash management preferred
  • Strong Excel skills are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take on responsibility, and to drive results in a dynamic, change-oriented environment
  • Experience in using an ERP, i.e. JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, Micro Strategies, Business Intelligence, etc. preferred

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

Capital structure planning and analysis

  • Responsible for reporting and analytics used to manage current debt portfolio
  • Develop analytic models to evaluate alternative debt structures and strategies
  • Manage current interest rate swap portfolio, including compliance and reporting
  • Debt compliance management and reporting and proforma modeling of financial covenants
  • Support divisions with the structuring of new transactions in compliance with debt agreements

Foreign exchange risk management

  • Support evaluation of current programs and develop analytic models to evaluate value at risk, hedge effectiveness, and alternative hedging strategies
  • Development of global policies and procedures related to derivatives and hedging
  • Responsible for global regulatory compliance and reporting
  • Responsible for daily liquidity management including the design, implementation, and ongoing management of an enterprise-wide direct cash flow forecasting model and optimization of borrowing and investment strategies
  • Review, recommend and implement changes to current Treasury reporting
  • Support M&A activities for Treasury
  • Act as departmental back up for Sr. Treasury Analyst as needed
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and project scoping as requested
