Job Description

Position Purpose:

This position works on-site at various retail pharmacy stores or warehouse distribution centers and performs two functions, applying all applicable federal and state laws and DOT, EPA and DEA regulations: 1) Scan, count, characterize, segregate, package and document various types of retail pharmaceutical product and 2) Scan, count, characterize, segregate, package, and document various types of pharmaceutical DEA controlled substances. This position is also responsible for the preparation of all appropriate and required documentation to meet Puerto Rico, EPA, DOT and DEA regulations.

 

This position will work remotely and is a non-sales opportunity. This position requires you to travel within your territory, therefore a personal vehicle is a must. 

Schedule and Location:

  • Territory: Will cover Quest Diagnostics, West, Hills, CA. 
    • Monday (5am - 1:30pm)
    • Tuesday (Off)
    • Wednesday (11am - 7:30pm)
    • Thursday  (11am - 7:30pm)
    • Friday  ( 11am - 7:30pm)
    • Saturday (5am - 1:30pm)

Key Job Activities:

1) Provides services related to managing retail pharmaceutical product for return. Characterization of hazardous, regulated, and non-hazardous product. According to Puerto Rico, EPA & DOT regulations, properly label, pack and prepare boxes for hazardous product shipment.
2) Travels between customer retail facilities, through assigned territory.
3) Maintains and manages own expenses and travel schedule to ensure customers are serviced on a regular and timely basis.
4) Provide support for customers on processes, findings and regulatory compliance.
5) Provides written and verbal reports to customer and supervisor.
6) Performs other related duties as required or requested.

Education:


Required Education: in Bachelors or Equivalent

Experience (North America & LATAM):

Hazard Waste Operator Experience
