Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage all food production areas for both airlines meals and home meal replacements.
  • Effectively manage labor costs through effective planning and minimization of overtime.
  • Train employees in more effective methods of productionHold employees accountable for their work performance
  • Ensure and promote a safe work environment
  • Follow all airline customer specifications to ensure products are being produced correctly.
  • Follow HACCP program guidelines, which consist of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
  • Manage and resolve production issues in a timely manner
  • Implement cycle time productivity initiatives.
  • Create team concepts throughout the food department
  • Develop and maintain master production plan.
  • Manage employee issues including schedules, attendance, disciplinary process and employee relations.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Operations leadership team.
  • Manager the business to optimize financial results.
  • Relate well with 18 airline customers.
  • Maintain excellent relations with associates in the department plus associates and peers in other departments.
  • Determine manpower requirements and prepare 30, 60, and 90-day business plans to fulfill business needs.
  • Support full implementation of HACCP.
  • Organized and analytical.
  • Create and communicate a vision for the department.
  • Implement best practices including the PIP Process.
  • Build a solid team foundation.
  • Be a self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision.
Job Qualifications
  • Graduate from a four year institute
  • Leadership experience required
  • Bilingual a plus (English and Spanish)
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Experience in Customer Relations a plus
  • Computer skills (Microsoft outlook, word and excel)
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Schedules are based on our needs, were a 24/7 facility and candidates will be need to be able to work any schedule, any day including holidays and weekends.
