We are seeking a Senior Commercial Lending leader to grow the Community First Financial Resources portfolio and team. The successful candidate will contribute to the annual strategic plan and provide leadership to our clients and the lending team. What Do You Need for this Position?
What You Will Be Doing
* Ensure the team meets financial goals by originating new loan and deposit clients
* Expand team with loan officers experienced in specialty market segments
* Lead team in sales, marketing, negotiation, underwriting, documentation and portfolio maintenance responsibilities
* Develop existing and new relationships by cross selling other bank products and services
* Have strong credit skills and knowledge of bank products and services including Treasury Management, Wealth Management, Business Card and partner with Product Specialists to sell products to clients and prospects
* Maintain and expand calling program via Salesforce
* Perform annual site visits to clients, prospects and referrals with bank partners
* Provide leadership and development for other partners within the group
* Prepare and present loan presentations to Senior Management and Loan Committee
* Assume responsibility for quality, completeness and accuracy of loan and other documents in the portfolio
* Proactively manage asset quality
* Contribute to the Bank's and Group's overall goals and objectives by participating in meetings and activities that support Bank goals
* Participating in community and professional organizations to provide branding, networking and referral opportunities
* Increase visibility in market by planning, hosting, attending and participating in conferences and networking opportunities
* Involvement in community activities through membership in organizations, attend special events, professional affiliations, volunteering, etc
* Stay informed of industry changes, trends, and best practices, and assess the potential impact on processes and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability
* Ability to interpret financial data
* Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
* Ability to effectively present information to management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
* Using critical thinking, logic, and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
* Operating at the highest standard of confidentiality, and behaving in a manner that engenders trust and openness.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
* Ability to travel 25% of the time (domestic travel)
* Established knowledge of faith based, education and non-profit lending is required
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
* Seven or more years' experience as a Commercial Loan Officer
* Proficient in Word/Excel required, other Microsoft programs a plus
* Salesforce and Precision Lender experience a plus
