Allan Hancock College is accepting applications for part-time mental health counselors for all district locations.

Certain combinations of education, experience, and other accomplishments in the field may be judged by the district as equal to the stated minimum qualifications for this position. Evidence of a sensitivity to and an understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of staff and students, and to staff and students with disabilities.
Demonstrated ability in serving diverse high school/incoming student populations.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills desired.
Master's degree or higher in clinical psychology, counseling, counseling psychology, social work, or the equivalent from an accredited institution.
A license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is an alternative qualification.
A strong foundation of training and experience in counseling theory and practice.
Knowledge and ability to apply legal and ethical standards of licensed mental health professionals.

Lecture Rate:$57.72 to $77.18 per hour depending upon education and experience
Lab Rate: $50.28 to $67.20 per hour depending upon education and experience
Activity Rate: $37.13 to $50.62 per hour depending upon education and experience
