Job Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and the NAWCWD, Digital Information Technology Analysis and Cyber (DITAC) Department (DC30000) Cyber Security Support Services (CSSS) to sustain the analysis, design, development, test, integration, deployment and operations of Information Technology (IT) systems and services including but not limited to the required certification and accreditation services, configuration management, technical information assurance, network monitoring, defense and security, and support for the Cyber Security workforce. The technical requirements described in this SOW will require the contractor to follow the work acceptance process developed by DITAC and the former Research, Develop, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) Infrastructure Division, for all incoming work requests while complying with all DoD Information Technology/Information Management/Information Assurance regulations and processes.

The Manager, Senior (Program Manager) plans, directs, or coordinates the operations of public or private sector organizations, overseeing multiple departments or locations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. He or she usually manage through subordinate supervisors. Excludes First-Line Supervisors.

Responsibilities of the Program Manager include supervising, directing, and coordinating a variety of Information Technology (IT) work. As well as performing contractual, financial, and administrative work to include, at a minimum, project controls, strategic management, and senior level communication

Qualifications required:
  • A minimum of 12 years of professional experience and a Master's degree in a business or science/technical field from an accredited college or university or
  • 16 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a business or science/technical field.
  • Experience must demonstrate the ability to supervise, direct, and coordinate a variety of Information Technology (IT) work.
  • Experience shall include performing contractual, financial, and administrative work to include, at a minimum, project controls, strategic management, and senior level communication.
  • The Manager shall have a strong understanding of cyber security.
