Job Description

Title: SEC Reporting Sr Analyst

Location: Hybrid position located in Sunnyvale, CA; Westminster, CO; or Dayton, OH; Potential for Remote for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Senior Manager of SEC reporting and technical accounting

  • Partner with members of accounting operations, stock administration, human resources, controllers, FP&A, legal, internal controls, third-party vendors

  • Assist with reporting calendar and deliverables

  • Assist with preparation of the Company's periodic SEC filings, including 10Qs, 10Ks, and assist with proxy statement

  • Tie out of the earnings release, web schedules, and conference call scripts

  • Ensure consistency with the tie-out of the 10-Q/10-K with both earnings release and audit committee materials.

  • Assist with the EPS calculations and statement of shareholders equity as well as weighted-average shares outstanding

  • Review and understand the preparation of Statement of Cash Flows

  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls

  • Assist in drafting and maintaining quarterly and annual accounting memos (e.g., going concern, impairment assessments, related party information)

  • Review certain information from stock administration team

  • Ability to sort through large volumes of stock awards or transactions and summarize (Excel)

  • Review quarterly PRSU multipliers

  • Record or review monthly stock compensation expense

  • Record or review share repurchases

  • Review new SEC requirements, such as sustainability reporting, and new FASB standards to ensure proper reporting; provide benchmarking

  • Understand the impacts of acquisitions and divestitures for SEC reporting purposes

  • Potential for performing technical accounting research

  • Evaluate and continually improve procedures and processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA

  • 6+ years relevant experience, including multi-national and public company SEC reporting experience; Big 4 experience helpful but not required

  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting regulations

  • Accountable for taking ownership of outcomes and public-facing information

  • Ability to listen to the needs of the business, articulate issues in a clear and simplified manner, present findings

  • Advanced Excel and/or Google spreadsheet skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Analytical with an ability to dive into the details and data and do the analysis required

  • Team player showing emotional intelligence in all situations

  • Experience with Oracle, DOMO, and Workiva helpful
