Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The contractor shall provide support by serving as a program analyst focusing on Information Security will support the implementation and oversight of INFOSEC regulations and facilitate INFOSEC training. The ideal candidate should have a background in INFOSEC and experience briefing senior government officials.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Serve as a SME on all matters relating to INFOSEC and the broader Network and Classification guidelines.
  • Provide direct support to the CNGB, NGB JS and indirectly, the JCS.
  • Coordinate with all States’ appointed Security Assistants.
  • Routinely coordinate with DoD Information Security Oversight Office(ISOO) and Service ASMs.
  • Prepare information briefings and decision briefings to the CNGB in preparation for JCS meetings, as required.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current Top Secret clearance and SSBI investigation with eligibility to be read on to SCI.
  • Conduct initial and annual NG INFOSEC Training.
  • Serve as the first line of defense against information security incidents.
  • Provide regular reports to the ASM on ISOO required data points.
  • Coordinate with other security disciplines leadership as needed.

    Education: Applicable degree(s):  Computer Science, Network Engineering, Economics, History, International Affairs, Intelligence, International Relations, International Business, National Security, Terrorism Studies, Political Science or Psychology. 

    Experience:
  • Doctorate (PhD) in approved field AND a minimum of six (6) years of experience in associated field; OR
  • Master’s degree in approved field AND a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in associated field; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in approved field AND a minimum of ten (12) years of experience in associated field

  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
