Position Purpose: Responsible for the maintenance and improvements of Essential Behavioral Health. The facility manager will ensure that the grounds are kept in top condition for full and productive use.
General Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains and oversees building and grounds maintenance.
- Inspect the structure of buildings and determine if repairs are needed.
- Schedules repairs, renovation projects, and safety inspections.
- Manages the facility work order system on site-manager.
- Quality control, cleaning, upkeep, and safety standards are maintained.
- Plans and schedules facility modifications, including cost estimates.
- Inspects construction and installation progress.
- Initiates planned maintenance programs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions.
- Manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, buildings, and premises.
- Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
- Perform environmental hazard management/planning and remediations.
- Keeps buildings safe by making sure they meet building code requirements.
- Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
- Promotes a positive team attitude with employees and transitional living guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of three years experience in building and grounds maintenance, two of which were holding a supervisory position.
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions involved with the maintenance, repair, and operation of buildings and grounds.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Possess strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to initiate and complete work orders. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- A valid Driver's license is required. Perform other duties as assigned.
