Part-Time, Teaching-Track Executive in Residence Positions, Washington, DC - DC Semester Program Apply Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences Faculty Los Angeles, California

The Dornsife in DC Program in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California, seeks teaching-track executive in residence positions for its Washington, DC program for the Spring term 2024. We seek scholar-practitioners who can teach undergraduate courses in international relations or American politics.


We are especially interested in candidates who could teach our signature course "How Washington Works," which provides students with behind the scenes view of politics in the nation's capital through classroom instruction, high level guest speakers, visits to the Hill to interact with staffers and members of Congress, as well as visits to other relevant agencies and organizations. Qualifications: Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g. political science, history, public policy, or international relations) and demonstrated excellence in teaching. We are actively seeking current and former foreign policy practitioners and those with professional experience in the field of international relations. The per course rate for this position is $11,000.
