Responsibilities

Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health

Seeking a Nurse with previous supervisory/management experience and acute care psych experience for a Nurse Manager position on a 24-bed Acute Care Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Unit in the Yuma Regional Medical Center in Yuma, AZ.

Yuma is in the southwestern part of the state close to CA. It is 2 and a half hours from San Diego, CA; 2 hours and 47 minutes from Phoenix, AZ; and 3 hours from Tucson, AZ.

The Nurse Manager plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of overall nursing care to patients for the inpatient psychiatric unit at YRMC.

He/she provides managerial support in conjunction with the Program Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing personnel on the unit. He/she contributes to the program, nursing, and hospital through commitment to nursing goals, the supervision of clinical staff, and participation in the community relations program.

Qualifications

Requires BSN or MSN. Must have at least 3years experience managing an acute care inpatient psychiatric program in a hospital setting; or have strong acute care inpatient psychiatric experience and other management experience. EOE
