The Department of Chemistry in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California invites applicants for a tenure track position inPhysicalChemistry at the level of Assistant Professor, to start August 16, 2024. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience.

We are interested in candidates inall areas of physical chemistry, with experimental physical chemistry as our priority. In order to be considered for this position, all candidates must apply via the "Apply" link at the top or bottom of this page. Candidates should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae and a detailed proposed research plan. A description of teaching interests and the candidate's vision regarding the teaching and mentoring of students from diverse backgrounds should also be included in the application.The names and contact addresses of at least three individuals who will provide letters of recommendation will be requested online. The committee will begin evaluation of files that include three letters of recommendation on October 9, 2023 and applications will be considered until the position is filled.

The annual base salary range for this position is $109,250 - $115,300.
