Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Engineer in the Geotechnical Group, we'll count on you to:

• Develop geotechnical engineering calculations and perform analyses in support of designs and plans for flood walls, levees, dam embankments, bank protection, and pumping stations projects.
• Perform complex assignments exercising judgement in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Conduct slope stability, seepage, and other soil/rock analyses associated with geotechnical engineering studies.
• Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed.
• Function as Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects as needed, but project management is not the sole focus of this position.
• Supervise a small staff of professionals and technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 4 years' experience
• PE
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, MicroStation or other software as appropriate
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $73,612.00 - $119,500 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
