Job Description

EBAD seeks a Production Technician based in Moorpark, CA. This position reports to the Product Engineering Lead.

Responsibilities:

The Production Technician is an integral member of the New Product Introduction Team.This position produces hardware with energetic powders, electromechanical assemblies accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.Responsible for Safety, Quality and Delivery of products for our Aerospace and Defense markets.

• Perform loading and delivery of energetic powders and mixesto enablefabrication of productsin multiple manufacturing areas
• Safely operate automatic cutter and other precision cutting devices
• Able to perform general maintenance on equipment and update maintenance logs accordingly
• Properly dispose of energetic waste material and solvents in accordance with company and government regulations
• Ensure traceability of materials in assigned area; coordinate with planners/buyers on purchase of new materials needed
• Track calibration status of all equipment in assigned area; ensure items are re-calibrated at specified intervals
• Log and record results of testing activities performed into databases and material traceability information on travelers
• Stamp and date operations complete on travelers when completed and ensure the work performed satisfies all documented quality requirements
• Maintain quality documentation on all work performed
• Work with Product Engineers in new production techniques and assemblies
• Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures, including the Quality Management System
• Follow all written instructions, work instructions, travelers and procedures when producing hardware
• Understand and adhere to all environmental health and safety guidelines including all safety policies and posted signs
• Always fill out production records, travelers and logs as work is completed
• Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience within the aerospace industry or similar field
• High School Diploma
• Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
• Use lab equipment including, but not limited to: precision weight scales, graduated cylinders, and calipers/micrometers
• Ability to assemble electromechanical devices through the use of standard and non-standard tooling
• Manufacturing of hardware through the use of Laser and Tig Welding Equipment.
• Ability to Solder to J-STD-001 standards or obtain a J-STD-001 certification.
• Energetic and positive; Ability to work independently
• Excels in a dynamic / changeable work environment
• Use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to use an ERP system

Compensation:

Salary Range: $45,000 - 60,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
