We are looking to fill an Intern - IT Support role for Summer 2024 at our Los Angeles location.
After orientation and training, the intern will perform entry-level IT tasks, support senior IT staff, and gain experience and familiarization with company projects.
Summer internships will start in approximately May/June and end in August/September.

Depending on demand within the organization, the candidate may be assigned to support the following areas:
20% - Assist with business applications, computers, servers, networking, infrastructure, etc.
20% - Support IT administrative activities including tracking, organizing and automating metrics and Service Level Agreement information. This includes Critical Performance Indicators and Key Performance Indicators for various IT providers on a monthly basis.
20% - Help with various IT projects. Tasks may include gathering documentation, coordinating meetings, and interfacing with Company personnel and vendors.
20% - Support strategic IT initiatives that impact the organization including roadmaps, project/investment review cycle, and various opportunities to enable the business.
20% - Business and clerical assistance with meetings, planning, and communicating across the organization.
Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems (or similar major) and returning to school upon completion of the assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
3.2 GPA or above
Solid academic track record of accomplishment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Software applications, including SharePoint
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with the ability to work with little direction
Leadership & teamwork skills
Attention to detail
Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements
Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 15 pounds; may require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending; and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. May require the ability to travel by air or auto. May require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and shop coat. These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization.
