The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is
seeking to hire a part-time Psychologist to join the Youth Stress and Mood
Program. Primary duties include:
Assisting in implementing program protocols
using principles and protocols
Implementing programs and training for YSAM
programs
Implementing program protocols for evaluation,
intervention/treatment, and other clinical activities for youths (i.e.
psychodiagnosis and psychotherapy)
Assisting with program development, planning,
and implementation
Collating and reviewing data and developing
reports, presentations, and other dissemination projects
Salary: $58.36/hr - $76.99/hr
Please note this is a limited position that may convert to career
Qualifications
PhD or PsyD in Psychology
Valid CA Psychologist License
Minimum 1-year or more post-doctoral experience
in clinical psychology
Experience and training in psychopathology and
psychotherapy in the area of suicide/self-harm prevention and depression
Prior work experience with youth patients with
depression, self-harm behavior, and suicidal ideation and behavior
Ability to assess and interpret complex
emotional and medical diagnosis for children and adolescents
Ability to recommend course treatment, and
implementation treatment plans, for children and adolescents, and their
families
Ability to train, supervise, and teach staff and
trainees
Ability to work nights and weekends
