Position Description:
Ryerson has an opportunity for a General Warehouse person. As a General Warehouse person you are responsible for filling orders, unloading and loading trucks and managing inventory within the plant.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Unload inbound material and place in proper storage locations
* Movement of work-in-progress, which may include skids of sheet, bundles of bar, plate, and metal coils
* Staging of material for daily production runs & shipping
* Truck loading for outbound customer shipments
* Sheet and bar order assembly
* Proper completion of paperwork
* Carrying and moving packaging supplies
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Position Requirements:
* HS diploma or GED required
* Forklift/side-loader experience preferred
* Overhead crane experience preferred
* Must be able to safely operate cranes with minimal supervision
* Prior CTL, CNC burning and plasma experience is a plus
* Must be able to accurately use standard measuring tools (tape measure, micrometer, and caliper) as well as pneumatic hand tools.
* Must be willing to work overtime when needed

Salary: $22.90 starting salary higher than $22.90 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
