Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work on-site with our customer in Torrance, CA.

Here's what you'd do:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Set-up and run all Mold Machines, Presses, Rubber Mills, with no supervision. Apply adhesive primers to ensure proper adhesion of rubber to processing hardware & to brake discs. Keeps work area clean. Use hand tools, hand scrapers, small sand stones, small power tools, abrasive blast, and buffing wheels. Parts are held in the hand or in simple fixtures. Operate bench grinders, polishers and other bench machinery. Perform repetitive bench and machine operations to clean, & polish to remove contamination such as corrosion, Heat Treat tint, Water/Plating stains, and to meet surface finish requirements. Tasks tend to be external and repetitive with some more complex internal finishing. Work from operation sheets, blueprints, and sketches to plan sequence of work.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $24.61/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (2nd Shift).

Length: Temporary (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Mold Press and Polishing Operator

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to troubleshoot molding operation problems.
  • Knowledgeable on all elastomeric compounds and their usage and applications.
  • Be able to read blueprints and interpret specification requirements.
  • Knowledgeable on usage of measuring instruments.
  • Knowledgeable on all environmental and safety requirements.

Additional Information:
