Job Description

Production Test Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Performing Fortinet product inspection including RMA returned and Eval returned units.
  • Based on working instruction to complete jobs.
  • Need assembling/disassembling systems for working purpose.
  • Upgrading or downgrading software or firmware per instructions.
  • Modifying test scripts per specifications changes.
  • Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and may recommend solutions to technical problems.
  • Summarizing testing reports and problems finding in writing.
  • Help other teams as needed.

Qualification:

  • Experience in testing or warehouse management.
  • Hands on experience with soldering techniques (changing components on PCB board) as a plus.
  • Motivated and assertive in learning and taking ownership of projects
  • Experience/Knowledge with scripting ( Python/TCL/ Perl / Shell / PHP ) and database is a plus
  • Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or related field , new graduate with AA /Bachelor's degree also consider
  • Be able to lift 40 lbs

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $18.00-$25.00 Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

All roles are eligible to participate in the Fortinet equity program, Bonus eligibility is reviewed at time of hire and annually at the Company's discretion
