Job Title: Senior Auditor
Work Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid: Once a week in office required)

OVERVIEW:
The Senior Auditor will play a senior or lead role in the audit engagement projects for global corporate clients from SMEs to large scales. Main responsibilities include conducting comprehensive audits, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards, and providing valuable insights to improve internal controls for clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, attestation experience, and excellent communication skills.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
* Conduct thorough and accurate financial audits and controls in accordance with U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant auditing standards.
* Evaluate internal controls including US/ J-SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and processes to identify areas for potential risks, discrepancies, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendation for enhancing operational efficiency and risk mitigations.
* Analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Lead and supervise engagement teams, providing guidance and mentorship to junior auditors.
* Maintain strong relationship and communications with clients, and gather necessary information, discuss audit findings, present recommendations, address audit-related inquiries in effective and efficient manners.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing and accounting.
* Prepare comprehensive audit reports and communicate findings to clients and management in a clear and concise manner.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting software, tools, and technologies.
* Assist in the development and implementation of audit procedures, policies, and methodologies.
* Assist in special projects, including due diligence reviews, financial advisory services, and other client-specific assignments.


QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA license, or a qualified candidate actively pursuing the CPA exam.
* Minimum of 2 years of attestation experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm. (Experience in a senior role is preferred but not mandatory)
* Thorough understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), auditing standards (e.g., PCAOB), and other relevant regulations.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities for effective client interactions and report writing.
* Leadership capabilities and experience in supervising and mentoring junior auditors.
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and commitment to meeting deadlines.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
