What will you be doing?

  • The Technical Program Manager will plan, establish, and manage technical projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.

  • They align projects with customer needs and requirements, construct detailed work plans, achieve milestones, and communicate the results across a stakeholder audience.

  • They organize projects with the goal of getting them completed on time and within budget

  • They will bring a clear sense of urgency and demonstrate a proven record of driving innovation, leading to the introduction of new technologies to the marketplace.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: B.S degree in Engineering or equivalent in related discipline

  • Certification: PMP, Agile/ScrumMaster certification required

  • Certified SAFe Practitioner preferred

  • Experience: BS degree with 6+ years of related experience, MS degree with 3+ years of related or PhD 1+ years of experience in a related field in product development and/or project management experience involving large multi-disciplinary teams in a medical devices environment, including experience developing software and electromechanical and systems

  • Proven track record to manage projects involving resources in multiple locations

  • Experience leading and launching capital medical device projects highly preferred

  • Must possess strong design talent and analytic ability for problem solving

  • Systems Engineering and Software Development methodologies

  • Excellent negotiation, facilitation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Innovative, self-motivated, high energy and results driven

  • Highly flexible and adaptable

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Supply chain planning/capacity planning for launch

  • Business acumen and understanding of operations costing

  • Proficient with project management tools, including MS Project

  • Experience with JIRA and Systems Engineering Requirements management tools a strong plus

  • Leadership: Ability to balance team leadership responsibilities while still effectively operating as an individual contributor

  • Ability to effectively lead, direct, mentor and empower a project team in a highly matrixed organization

  • Ability to influence at all levels of an organization

  • Travel Requirements: Domestic/International - up to 10%
