The Department of Mathematics at The University of Arizona seeks highly qualified and experienced candidates for the position of instructor. The primary role of the instructor is to create an engaging and meaningful learning experience for students in courses at the level of calculus and below. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to providing high quality mathematics instruction, and who will bring enthusiasm and expertise to this endeavor. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with other instructors to contribute to, and to be part of, an innovative teaching and learning environment. We are able to offer varied FTE depending on the needs of our program and the incumbent. All positions are in-person at the University of Arizona main campus in Tucson. Although this is a one year appointment, the Department of Mathematics provides opportunities for reappointment, salary increases, and promotions based on performance, department need, and funding. This is an academic-year, non-tenure track teaching appointment. The rate of pay for this position is $45,000 annually and will be prorated by an FTE between .50 - 1.00. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States. This career-track appointment is not eligible for tenure.
