Our cutting-edge technology plays a pivotal role in advancing precision medicine, enabling healthcare professionals to derive valuable insights from genomic data. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our R&D team in driving continuous innovation and excellence in our flagship product QCI Interpret.

Position Overview:

As the Engineering Manager for Clinical NGS Interpretation Software, you will play a key role in leading a talented team of developers to enhance and evolve our industry-leading software. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to ISO13485 / IVDR compliance standards, and driving improvements through an efficient and agile development process.

Key Responsibilities:

* Strategic Planning: Contribute to the formulation and execution of the overall software development strategy and timeline.

* Work closely with senior management to align engineering goals with the company's broader business objectives.

* Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

* Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to promote professional growth and skill development.

* Collaborate with other departments, such as QA, content curation, and development teams, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of project goals and project timelines.

* Product Development: Drive the development and enhancement of our Clinical NGS interpretation software, ensuring it remains at the forefront of technological advancements.

* Own and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring timely and high-quality product releases.

* Implement and optimize agile development processes to enhance team efficiency and product delivery.

* Compliance and Quality: Ensure the team operates within an ISO13485 / IVDR compliant environment, adhering to regulatory standards in the development of clinical software. Represent development practices for ISO13854 and IVDR internal/external compliance and certification audits

* Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to guarantee the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.

Position Requirements

* Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

* 3-5 years of experience in a lead engineering role, preferably in the development of scientific or life science SaaS software.

* Proven track record of successfully driving an agile development process and managing complex projects.

* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.

* Experience in a regulated environment, with a focus on ISO13485 / IVDR compliance, is highly desirable.

The estimated base salary range for this position is 150.000-200.000 USD. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes annual performance bonus and generous benefits.
