At Courtesy Products, serving the hospitality industry is at the core of what we do. This position will have you involved with our products daily like our Cafe Valet line of coffees and other in-house products where you will process, package, and monitor coffee production.

This position involves activities with food safety and sanitation programs. The position is responsible for plant and equipment cleaning, sanitation, and compliance with GMP's, sanitation policies and procedures.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• High level of adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices with regards to sanitation and food safety.
• Performs cleaning and sanitation of all processing and packaging equipment and operational areas to ensure internal and regulatory sanitation/food safety compliance.
• Ensures compliance with all company and regulatory product safety and quality standards, sanitation standards, employee safety and environmental standards.
• Works closely with management and production personnel on sanitation problems.
• Assist with maintaining Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Assist with maintaining adequate records to track chemical inventory, sanitation supplies and cleaning schedule.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Work in production when needed.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High level of adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP'S) with regards to sanittion and food safety REQUIRED.
• Packaging experience a plus.
• Previous Sanitation position and experience is REQUIRED
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Performs cleaning and sanitation of all processing and packaging equipment and operationsal areas to ensure internal and regulatory sanitation/food safety compliance.
• Ensures compliance with all company and regulatory product safety and quality standards, sanitation standards, employee safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to work alone and manage time effectively
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Computer experience is PREFERRED.
• Work in elevated areas, on a ladder less than 12 feet.
• Organization and time management.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Able to assist in production as needed.
• ABLE TO WORK: MONDAY - THURSDAY, 6 AM - 4:30 PM
