Job Description
Generall Repairman - 2 positions available
1st shift (6:30am to 2:30pm)
2nd shift (2:30pm to 10:30pm)

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Meet qualifications for General Maintenance Worker. Must be able to weld, operate maintenance power equipment, read and interpret blue prints and floor layouts. Must make minor repairs to plant, production, and service equipment. Must be able to do installation and repairs to water, air, sewage piping and equipment. May be required to do lubrication service on all plant, production, and material handling equipment. Works under the direction of General Repairman Facilitator, and the supervision of Maintenance Supervision. Must be able to do lubrication service on all plant, production, and material handling equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
In the performance of their job employee will encounter: reading, writing, walking, standing, climbing stairs and ladders.
*Must be proficient in the use of welding equipment, both gas and electric. Uses all safety precautions.
*Must use shop equipment such as: a table saw, radical saw, drill press, sanders, drills, cut off saws, air hammers, & nail nailers.
*Must be able to do close measurements, read-and interpret blue prints, drawings and sketches.
*Must be able to repair plant, production, and service equipment such as: stitchers, power tape dispensers, conveyors, baler, material handling equipment, compressors, pumps, dock levelers, and other equipment.
*Must be able to lubricate on regular schedule, all plant, production and material equipment.
*Required to install and repair water lines, air lines, sewage piping and equipment. Includes removal and reinstallation of sump pumps.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
*Reading,

*Measuring
*Must be able to safely use both Gas and electric welding equipment in a proficient manner.

Employee may be exposed to temperature e extremes of 100 degree plus and below 32 degrees while performing their job duties. Employee may be required to work in wet conditions. Some job duties may involve dusty conditions.
