Job Description

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company (EBAD) is a leader in energetic system solutions offered to aerospace and defense customers for a wide array of applications. EBAD products & capabilities set the U.S. standard and are highly sought after in the international community.

EBAD seeks a candidate for the position of Drafting and Product Configuration Supervisor, reporting to the Moorpark Director of Engineering. The position is located in Moorpark, CA.

Responsibilities:

This position supports the Moorpark site within EBAD.

• Maintaining the process for Sales Parts, Inventory Parts, Engineering Parts, and Bills of Material in the ERP system.
• Able to resolve Configuration Management issues across various departments
• Maintaining the process for models and drawings with Solidworks and the Vault.
• Able to resolve drafting, drawing, and model issues.
• Sustain and continuously develop EBA&D's Drafting and Configuration Management group, including personnel and organizational competencies.
• Organize and maintain cross-site internal customer requests and priorities on a day-to-day basis through the Drafting and Configuration Management group.
• Maintain and update daily visual management boards.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities, and take ownership of implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have attention to detail and a positive attitude. Post high school education is required.

Required skills include:

• Advanced knowledge of Aerospace Configuration Management practices.
• Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks PDM Vault
• Ability to read, interpret drawings and understand parts lists.
• Populate product structures in IFS (ERP system).
• Ability to meet commitments, juggle priorities, and remain organized
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficient with Microsoft office suite software (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Compensation:

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
