ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be instrumental in transforming the fintech landscape. Your mission will be to redefine user experiences in the digital payments realm by proactively identifying, creating, conducting, and analyzing qualitative customer research to support our products today and in the future. This role collaborates closely with Product Management, Design, and Marketing teams to share user research insights. The Payrix team has offices in Denver, Atlanta, and Cincinnati. This is a remote eligible role.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Head user research initiatives and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Overseeing the complete lifecycle of research projects, from conceptualization to implementation, coordinating across design, planning, organization, and execution.
  • Compiling and formulating concise summary reports for team presentations.
  • Specializing in fintech user experiences, focusing on researching payment processes, aiding users in understanding complex information, and encapsulating these insights within a white label SaaS business model.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 3-5 years of experience in a User Research role, ideally within a fintech, payments, or SaaS environment.
  • Proficient in user experience research methods, generating product-level insights, and analyzing large qualitative datasets.
  • Highly skilled in conducting user interviews.
  • Comfortable with basic statistical methods.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with end-to-end experience in all aspects of the user research lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with remote testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, ethnographic research, and survey design.
  • Bonus points for experience in developing service blueprints and/or user journey maps specifically in the fintech or digital payments sector.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $167,780.00 - $281,870.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
