Overview

If you are a detail oriented individual with superb customer service skills, we may have the position you've been looking for. Use your experience in the travel industry to play a vital role in assisting Esri employees worldwide with travel arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently reserve and ticket incoming travel requests for employees and guests - to include air, hotel, cars, and trains
  • Process changes, cancellations, and schedule changes, including the recalculation of domestic and international airfares following all fare rules
  • Manage prompt and accurate responses to telephone and e-mail from internal customers
  • Follow department policies and procedures and enforce Corporate Travel Policies and Guidelines
  • Understand and properly use airline terminology, codes, fare basis, rules, and industry websites to ensure accurate rule interpretation
  • Obtain passports and visas when required for both US and foreign national employees
  • Maintain employee travel profiles to include personal and reward program information
  • Monitor, and work GDS (Sabre) queues daily to maintain quality control in a timely basis
  • Maintain a productive workflow to meet gross monthly productive transactions goals

Requirements

  • 4+ years extensive Corporate Travel Agent experience
  • Experience in domestic and international faring, ticketing procedures, and exchanges
  • Advanced skills with Sabre GDS
  • Knowledge to fulfill requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, and more)
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail, including experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use resources to research issues and handle complex customer inquiries
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional telephone, email skills, and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently, exercising discretion, and judgment
  • Ability to work in a team environment supporting management and employees
  • High School Diploma

Recommended Qualifications

  • International Travel Agent
  • Typing speed of 45 WPM
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$24$37 USD
