The Regional IT Applications Lead (RAL) is a hands-on, technical supervisor who is accountable for second and third-tier IT applications support, ongoing maintenance, and execution of small projects and updates to hybrid applications as well as associated components (databases, etc.) within the regional landscape.

The RAL is accountable for defining local business application needs and ensuring that global standards and processes are implemented within his/her team, and that all application requests and incidents are appropriately resolved, with assistance if necessary. Come join our team!!

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health and safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk

  • In collaboration with application owners and the Regional IT Technical PM, implement new updates to applications within the region, ensuring that all necessary handover documentation is provided.

  • Be the single point of contact for applications in the region and ensure that all standards - hardware, software, and processes - are implemented and followed.

  • Builds strong relationships with the support services team and Enterprise Applications teams to ensure services are delivered as per SLAs and according to standards.

  • Collaborates with others in the support organization to improve processes and implementation of tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Coach applications support staff to understand and follow processes to deliver efficient and effective service.

  • Identify cost savings activities within the team, working closely with IT Technical Excellence Lead and IT Support Excellence Lead to identify opportunities to achieve higher efficiency through technology, automation, or process improvements.

  • Partner with other applications services leads (regional and global) to identify improvements or changes to the services to improve delivery to the business and share knowledge.

  • Ensure business continuity by appropriate operational maintenance and support, working to implement appropriate level coverage in the region.

  • Provide resources and prioritize, scope, and assist with regional applications projects, and regional aspects of global applications projects.

Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.

  • A high school diploma is required.Bachelors/ Masters in information technology, business administration, computer sciences or a related field is preferred.

  • 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in applications. Knowledge of Information Security is beneficial.

  • Technical leadership experience is desired but not required.

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals Desired

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills

  • Strong, but broad application skills required in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Platform, PowerBI, SQL Server, Data Integration & API's

  • Communicates well and can collaborate across functions.

  • Has attention to detail and is organized.

  • Has a working understanding of relational and non-relational database solutions.
