As a Zscaler Data Protection Solution Architect, you will be responsible for helping customers augment their cyber defenses by adopting Zscaler's DLP, CASB Proxy, Browser Isolation, UEBA, SaaS API & SSPM solutions. This role will present to existing and prospective customers, create and deliver demonstrations of the products, gather customer technical requirements, create evaluation test plans with customers, own competitive intelligence and assist Zscaler sales engineers with customer-facing POVs.
The DLP/CASB Architect will act as a trusted technical and business advisor to our account teams, and customers to aid in the customer's security transformation journey. In addition to possessing a strong technical foundation, this role will require strong communication skills, strategic time management, relationship building skills, and the ability to influence the strategic roadmap of our product sets.
Required Qualifications- 5 to 9 years of experience as an Systems/Consulting Engineer or Solutions Architect.
- Excellent knowledge and proven experience selling to enterprise customers
- Relevant pre-sales experience selling DLP/CASB and Browser Isolation.
- Knowledge of following enterprise cyber security technologies is preferred: DLP, CASB, proxies, firewalls, SSL/TLS.
- Knowledge of other technologies : SD-WAN, VPN's, Public Clouds - AWS, GCP, Azure, AWS Solution Architect, detection of Advanced Threats, malware detonation/sandboxing, kill chain, and analytics.
- Understand SaaS based technologies and their implications for the enterprise
- Experience working with Channel partners/Global System Integrators and understand a channel-centric go to market approach.
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolutions, often under pressure.
Expectations of DLP/CASB Architect:
- You are the technical expert who best understands, articulates and evangelizes Zscaler's Zero Trust approach to securing their applications and cloud environments from modern threats through the use of our DLP/CASB Solutions.
- You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Your presentations and demos for prospects, partners and customers are crisp, informative, and tailored to your audience, be they executives, architects or operators.
- You will work in a matrix role, connecting with peers and RSMs/SEs throughout Zscaler to train, enable, and share best practices.
- You own the technical sales process from stem to stern, working to identify, qualify and scope opportunities and execute proof of concept engagements as needed to convert opportunities into technical victories.
- You're constantly building and maintaining strong relationships with key customer stakeholders as well as the reseller partners and internal Zscaler resources who all contribute to the success of your customers.
- You thrive on learning new technologies and look to stay ahead of the curve.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
