Week in the life ofSoftware Developer/Team Lead:

• Develop/modify/enhance software writtenin C++, C#, Python, Unity in flight test applications.
• Workwith a real time operating system.
• Develop TCP/UDP communication, especially over unreliable networks.
• Work in a Linuxterminal environment.
• Workwith real-world sensor data to determine aircraft state: dealing with uncertainty/noise, different reference geoids.
• Apply software development principles in a team environment to develop and refine automated processes.
• Record test or report procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and make recommendations for changes.
• Create reports and other documentation necessary to describe the results of studies and/or tests.
• Analyze indicated and calculated results in relation to requirements, specifications, or test objectives.
• Workwith/leada software team of 5-10 people; assign tasks and manage tasks and people to get them done.
• Communicate and manage software requirements with leads of other teams across several projects.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor's degree in STEMw/3years of experience OR
  • Master'sSTEM degreew/one year experience OR
  • Doctorate'sSTEM degree w/no experience
• Experience with agile methodology.
• Experience with Git, including GitLab administration.
• Software development experience withC++, C#, Python, and/or Unity.
• Strong management and communication skills

NOTE: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A 9/80 WORK SCHEDULE(alternating Fridays off); core hours are between 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
