Job Summary
As part of the Health Information Technology Finance team, the Budget and Financial Analyst covers all financial duties related to providing IT and Electronic Health Record (EHR) services to affiliate hospitals and physician practices affiliated with UCSF Health. This includes annual operating budget development and monitoring, service pricing/ re-pricing updates, and multi-year total cost of ownership development. This position is the liaison to affiliate finance team members, manages procurement and invoicing, capital project budgeting and monitoring for implementations, and performs regular budget reconciliations, journal entries, reforecasts, and adjustments due to change orders. This position applies extensive knowledge of industry practices in healthcare decision support and advanced professional concepts to substantial projects, often with high degrees of complexity.

Department Description
UCSF Health IT has approximately 450 employees providing application, technical project/program management, experience design, and technology support services to UCSF Health and its affiliates. The finance function is embedded within Health IT Operations and closely collaborates with UCSF Health's central finance teams.
