The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be a member of the Global Information Systems (GIS) team supporting the Pilot Procurement organization. Working with business process owners across multiple pilot Applications and associated end users, the BSA will be responsible for understanding business process and associated needs, rationalize business requirements, create functional design and specifications to enable the technical team in the implementation of software solutions. In addition, the BSA will be responsible to validate software solutions, and work with the technical team in the deployment of software solutions to enable business capabilities.

What You'll Do
  • Leverage business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements
  • Acts as a liaison between technical team, functional team, Business Functions, and vendor to drive systems implementations
  • Clearly articulate the impact of business problems and benefits using business language
  • Perform hands-on process design, solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks as required in support of current and new projects
  • Write and maintain system documentation, including configuration specifications, functional specifications, and technical specifications
  • Have a thorough functional and technical knowledge of SAP MM, SAP PP, SAP portal, SAP FIORI application. And other custom application integration with SAP.
  • Performs integration and functional testing. Engages with Business users in defining UAT test plans. In addition, works with global business users to schedule and participate during UATs. Direct software systems testing and validation procedures.
  • Define and manage cutover plan to transition solution to production state
  • Provide post-deployment production support (hyper care) to ensure all existing business requirements have been met with an overall improvement to operational efficiency.
  • Understand industry-specific trends that impact the organization
Who We're Looking For
  • 10+ years Business Systems Analysis experience with Procurement and Manufacturing systems and associated interfaces.
  • Have SAP MM, SAP PP functional experience and knowledge.
  • Must have Knowledge of SAP Procure to pay process knowledge and SAP Planned and production orders.
  • Must be experienced with data management, data flows and downstream reuse of master data.
  • Must be skilled in analytical techniques, practices and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working with vendors, peers, business.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management best practices, including Agile development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management knowledge or experience is beneficial.
  • Experience with SQL and databases.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary and Benefits

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position:$109,000.00-$239,000.00

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
